A historic meeting for health data science in Latin America
The first edition of the Symposium brought together the public and private sectors and academia to advance health data standardization and strengthen an ethical, open and inclusive regional community — driving OMOP CDM adoption in Brazil and across the region. The event focused on data interoperability, the use of real-world data and tackling health inequalities.

About the call for abstracts
Overall theme: Data science for health equity — taking the OMOP CDM beyond the clinical perspective. Abstracts of up to 500 words (title, background, methods, results, discussion/conclusions, references), not published in peer-reviewed literature, with at least one author attending to present. Submissions could cover completed research or plans for OMOP CDM adoption in Latin America.
